    EARNING CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT AT THE EAST COAST CONFERENCE   

Types of Continuing Education Credit offered at the East Coast Conference:

1.  Certificate of Attendance

Conference attendees may request a signed Certificate of Attendance on AEHS Foundation letterhead listing the sessions, workshops, and number of hours attended.

Attention New Hampshire PEs: Our Certificate of Attendance is accepted by the board of licensure and certification for NH PEs!

Attendees must:

  •     pay the $50 CEU administrative fee when registering
  •     sign in and out at session and workshop doors showing a picture ID.
Certificates of Attendance will be mailed mid-November.


2.  Massachusetts LSP Credits

The conference has been approved to offer LSP credits from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration of Hazardous Waste Site Cleanup Professionals. All sessions have been approved to receive credit as outlined below (no exclusions). Workshop #3 has been approved for (2) DEP Regulatory credits and (2) non-DEP Technical credits (Course #1608). All other workshops have been approved to receive credit as outlined below (no exclusions).

LSP credits will be awarded as follows:

LSPs will receive 1/2 credit per hour of conference attendance (sessions, lunches, breaks, and receptions included)
LSPs will receive 1 credit per hour of attendance in workshops

To receive credit, LSPs must
  •     pay the $50 CEU administrative fee when registering
  •     sign in and out at the conference registration desk for conference attendance
  •     sign in and out at the workshop doors for workshop attendance and attend entire
        workshop (partial credit not allowed for workshops)
  •     show a picture ID when signing in and out
Certificates will be mailed mid-November.


3.  Connecticut LEP Credits

The conference has been approved by the State of Connecticut Board of Examiners of Environmental Professionals to offer LEP credits (with some exclusions as noted below.)

LEP credits (CECs) will be awarded as follows:

½ credit per hour of session attendance (breaks and lunches excluded)
1 credit per hour of attendance in workshops

2017 Exceptions (not approved for LEP credit): 
Session 8: State and Local Government Strategies for Reducing Climate Impacts
Session 10: Advancing the Clean Energy Economy in Massachusetts
Session 14: Climate Change and Resiliency Within Sustainable Remediation

To receive credit, LEPs must
  •     pay the $50 CEU administrative fee when registering
  •     sign in and out at the session doors for session attendance
  •     sign in and out at the workshop doors for workshop attendance and attend entire
        workshop (partial credit not allowed for workshops)
  •     show a picture ID when signing in and out
Certificates will be mailed mid-November.


4.  New York PE Credits

The 2017 conference has been approved by the NYS Board for Engineering & Land Surveying to offer NY PE credits.

PDHs will be awarded as follows:

1 credit per hour of attendance at sessions and/or workshops (breaks and lunches excluded)

To receive credit, PEs must
  •     pay the $50 CEU administrative fee when registering
  •     sign in and out at the session and workshop doors
  •     show a picture ID when signing in and out

Certificates will be mailed mid-November.

5.  Florida PE Credits

The conference has been approved by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers to offer FL PE credits.

PDHs will be awarded as follows:

1 credit per hour of attendance at sessions and/or workshops (breaks and lunches excluded)

To receive credit, PEs must

  •     pay the $50 CEU administrative fee when registering
  •     sign in and out at the session and workshop doors
  •     show a picture ID when signing in and out

Certificates will be mailed mid-November.


6.   New Jersey LSRP credit

The conference has been approved by the State of New Jersey Site Remediation Professional Licensing Board to offer LSRP credits.

LSRP credits (CECs) will be awarded as follows:

½ credit per hour of session attendance (breaks and lunches excluded)
1 credit per hour of attendance in workshops

  •     sign in and out at the session doors for session attendance
  •     sign in and out at the workshop doors for workshop attendance and attend entire workshop
  •     show a picture ID when signing in and out
